This book follows a peculiar case of the death of a bollywood movie star and how the untimely death is not what it really seems!

We follow Vikram Rana, a smart and well reputed detective as he tries to unveil a crime and find the culprit behind it.

The book comes with an adequate and well welcomed taste of bollywood drama, that kept me hooked to the investigation.  the characters are so well written and true to their descriptions throughout the book, which makes them so real.

Now if we talk about the actual revelation, the real killer had been in the back of my mind as a big possibility about a few pages in, but The book was well balanced with adequate clues and leads that simultaneously drove us towards the killer as well as away, which I really enjoyed.

The style of writing the author has taken up is easy and interesting to read and dramatic as well as descriptive enough to be made a movie out of for sure, she is careful in keeping the reader's interest a 100% in the case, slowly making us invested into wanting to solve the mystery ourselves. If anybody wants to know what the tip 'show not tell' means, the writing in this book, is a very good example! Kudos to the author for that!

The minute details that give the book a comical and enjoyable touch as well as an enjoyable plot overall made this a really interesting read!

I especially loved reading the diary entries as well as the police report as an ending! It provided me with so much more context and understanding of the circumstances.

Vikram Rana's investigation narrative is something I'm hoping to read more of.
